The palate has a lovely bright sense of lightness, and old school notes of leather & spice, everything there for the die hard Pinotage lover but with freshness and fuzz to appeal much more widely.

Delicious with seafood or fish dishes like a salmon quiche

Crisp and fresh on the palate with notes of cola

which has aged for around 8 years under Flor before 4 more years of oxidative ageing

with subtle lemon meringue and buttered toast flavours adding sumptuousness against zippy acidity and a pithy

Aromas of ripe pear and stewed rhubarb steeped in honey and decadent raspberry jam mature into sweet meadow grasses complemented by underlying fresh lemon and lime edge

Quite chunky and stony and very St-Estèphe

This is a playful

It is then distilled in small copper stills over open flames in order to develop its suppleness and voluptuous character in the mouth

giving a wonderfully mineral style
