These lovely bookends feature a Japanese male and a Japanese female with a dog. They are mostly white although the male is outlined in blue and the female in pink. The dog has yellow highlights. These bookends were made in Japan by Taste Setter Sigma and are handpainted. I found different dates when they were made, anytime between the 1920s and the 1970s. No matter when
