Clark and Charles G. Oviatt The quadrangles straddle the Interstate 80 corridor from Wendover to Aragonite. The map area is in the eastern Basin and Range Province, and includes mountain ranges, smaller hills, and intervening valleys on the east and west, and spans the Great Salt Lake Desert in the central part. This map (plate 1) shows the first year of a multi year project to map the geology of the Bonneville Salt Flats quadrangle and
