Poshte AmericaThis RARE round fruit, although relatively little known has a rich aromatic and delicious flavour. The fruit is the size of an orange and has a dull green surface with perfectly textured pulp. The tough skin allows it to be handled easily and makes it resistant to insect attack. incorporating lots of well-rotted compost or very old animal manure

or prune whole stalks at a time

Suitable for growing in subtropical regions

however once established they can handle a light brief frost

Was grown on St Helena high security penal colony

featured in the Mediterranean garden or other ornamental planting

It thrives in saltmarshes and other saline conditions around the country
